Genna Dacanay - 6th Grade Counselor

Mrs. Dacanay graduated from UNC in December 2019 with an MA in School Counseling. This is her fourth year as a school counselor at Russell, and she is so excited to be here! She has a passion for working with students and families, and she enjoys being a part of the Russell Family.

Outside of school, Mrs. Dacanay loves reading, spending time outdoors with her dog, playing video games, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite place to be is in the mountains. She also loves going to concerts, whether it's seeing the Colorado Symphony or her favorite bands.

Mrs. Dac is excited to meet this year's 6^th grade students and families.
