Ms. Jennifer Strombeck
I moved to Colorado from the east coast when I was about 10 and have lived here ever since. I love the mountains and enjoy hiking, camping, and canoeing. This is my 14th year teaching and I really enjoy teaching 6th grade. I have 3 children and a dog. In my free time I also enjoy reading, going to the pool, teaching the dog tricks, and spending time with my family.
Course Overview
In 6th grade Language Arts, students will learn how to analyze the theme, author's purpose, and argument of a wide variety of texts including fiction, non-fiction, memoir and poetry. They will use text evidence to support their claims and ideas.
