I am a proud 3rd generation Coloradoan with my family owning a homestead east of Pueblo, in the small town of Boone. I was born and raised in Pueblo, being the youngest of 3 children and the only girl. I grew up in an “older” family (my father would be 105 if he were still alive today) and learned many things about history and the way of life in the “olden days” from gathering around and listening to the stories told by my elders thus began my love history and storytelling.
My family often laughs that I was born with a wanderlust spirit. If there is an adventure to be found I go looking for it or just happen upon it. I have always loved to experience new cultures and their traditions. I have travelled overseas & across this amazing country of ours staying months on end with both of my brothers and their families wherever their home-base might be. My bucket list includes visiting Ireland, New Zealand, Iceland (incredible Northern Lights) and New England during the fall. Family, friends and dogs are what complete my life; with my nieces and nephews being at the top of that list. I also love watching the NFL, camping with raging campfires; riding my ATV or bike, reading and just RELAXing!
I have taught for 30 years in both and public and private education; teaching every grade Pre-K through 8th along with every core subject and a few electives
