School Accountability Committee

School Accountability Committee (SAC)
Families. Community. Shared Voice.
What is the SAC?
The SAC is a group of parents, guardians, community members, and school staff who meet to advise school leadership on decisions aimed at providing the best overall education for our children.
Topics include:
- Student learning and academic progress
- School safety and climate
- How school funds are used
- School goals and improvement efforts
SAC members review data, ask questions, and provide feedback to help the school make informed decisions that support students.
The SAC also shares input with the District 11 Accountability Committee (DAC), which advises the school board. This means parents and community members have a real, direct voice at both the school and district level.
Meeting Dates and Times
SAC meetings are held at least quarterly and are currently scheduled monthly in the Russell Middle School Library, on the [insert day, e.g., second] Tuesday of the month, immediately following the monthly PTA meeting.
